I was born and raised in one of the most southern towns of Ohio, Ironton. I found my passion for animals when I was just 6 years old, when I rescued my first pet kitten “Blanca” off the street. Through the years of growing up, I was always surrounded by animals, cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, goats and much more. While I was serving in the military, I got the honor and privilege of working with military working dogs for a few years. I was always in and out of the veterinary clinics that we took them to, and found my purpose, working in veterinary medicine.
When I left the military and moved to the Raleigh area in mid 2018, I enrolled into Miller-Motte College to become a Veterinary Technician. I enjoy going to my classes and learning as much as I can about being a vet tech. In October of 2018, I got the privilege to start working for Complete Pet Care as a Animal Care Technician. I wanted to get my foot in the door of veterinary medicine as soon as possible, and couldn’t be happier with the position I’m in.
